Refresh And Reset

Updated: Nov 27, 2018

Sometimes we don't realize how much we need a break; from life, and work, and our situation. When you get stuck in a routine for so long, you get set in your ways and it's almost robotic. Weekends aren't always enough because some of us still work and are consumed with other responsibilities.

Taking a step back from life for a minute is NECESSARY! You need to refresh and reset. You need to realize your goals again. You need to clear your mind and take a deep breathe. You need to gain your creativity back.

We get so caught up that when life becomes robotic, you tend to forget the things you love doing, your end destination, what your next step is going to be, and how to relax and have fun. I am currently on a much needed vacation/visiting family. I didn't realize how much I needed it until I left. Everyday is the same, I am no where near my goals and I was forgetting what they were, I didn't focus enough time on looking at the big picture and finding my next step. My life came to a complete standstill and I wasn't happy. As a matter of fact, going on this trip made me realize I was getting TOO COMFORTABLE where I was. I was becoming set in my ways, it was just my everyday responsibilities.

It's times like these when you need a break the most. You need to take time every now and then to reset and re-motivate yourself. It isn't easy to stay inspired and motivated when your life isn't where you want it to be. THAT is how we get stuck in a standstill. We lose motivation. We lose inspiration. We lose precious time because we're exhausted mentally and physically. If you don't find ways to get motivated again, you won't get out of your rut.

The best way to getting motivated again is torefresh and reset. Whether that means taking a trip, taking a spa day, taking a day to go shooting, going on a hike, or taking a weekend getaway to somewhere near by. Getting out of your situation lets you look at it from a new perspective. It gets you out of your funk, out of your day to day routine.

I can honestly say that even though this trip has been busy, time consuming, and tiring - it has been refreshing, mind clearing, and re-motivating. I'm making my way back to NJ as we speak but with a new mindset, a new motivation, and new goals. I am starting my new little venture aside from going back to my main jobs. I am planning to get back to blogging more and doing things I love.

If you can relate to this, GO REFRESH! You probably need it.

Until Next Time,

Your Sunflower
